«Free speech is fine as long as the board shares my opinions» was my impression when reading the #JackDorsey interview.
@… goes one step further with his deconstruction of tech billionaires' adoring uncensorable free speech.
A must-read …

Finally the sun is out again. Feeling a bit sore but happy, reading on my balcony with a huuuge mug of coffee by my side. My feet hurt from dancing last night, my tinnitus and birds' chirping intermingling nicely and I gathered some woodruff to make some May wine later.

Woodruff withering in the sun.

I followed that #UFO on the mysterious "The Bahlsen Family" logo into the web and found several #TILs.

The dust- and moisture-resistant TET packaging is launched on the market. The TET symbol with the oval, the snake, the semicircle and the three dots is actually pronounced "dschet", but has been simplified to "TET". It is derived from an ancient Egyptian hieroglyph and means "eternal while". It stands as a seal of quality for Bahlsen quality, as the TET pack is the first cardboard pack capable of keeping the cookie fresh for a long time.

Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
Bahlsen introduces the first punched card as well as Europe's first flow conveyor system. Eight years before Henry Ford used it in automobile assembly.

Arlington DES, years after redoing this stop, have finally realized their dumb design was bad and put in an ugly fix of removing a parking space and sticking some plastic in there.
Doesn’t stop drivers from blocking the bike lane though.

An intersection with a box crossed out that used to be a parking space. It now has flex posts to prevent drivers from being in the parking lane when turning right.
